ETFE Tubing

ETFE is a fluoropolymer, which is chemically and structurally similar to polyolefins (such as polyethylene), so it has higher wear resistance, impact resistance and crushing resistance than its perfluorinated (perfluorinated polymer) counterparts-PTFE, FEP and PFA.

ETFE tubing is usually used for harnesses, outer film applications requiring weather resistance, and tank linings requiring special chemical resistance and abrasion resistance.Its high tensile strength at 25℃ also allows it to have higher working pressure at this temperature.

ETFE tubing provides:
High wear resistance while maintaining chemical inertness
Higher tensile strength and working pressure than PTFE, FEP and PFA at 25℃
Higher chemical resistance than PTFE, FEP and PFA
The maximum operating temperature is 300°F (~150℃)
